Stonecross Limited provides software engineering services, specializing in web-based Java, XML and database applications. Solutions are tailored to individual customer needs, and can cover all phases of project development, from analysis and design to coding, testing and implementation.
Stonecross is a small family-run company based in Stow, in the Scottish Borders, but contracts are undertaken on an international basis.
The principal consultant with Stonecross is John Finlayson, who has been working in software development for over 15 years. He has broad experience of software in different industries, including financial, retail, requirements management and employee benefits systems, and has worked in various roles within the IT industry. John has an in-depth knowledge of many different languages and environments. Originally specializing in C and relational databases, the emphasis over the past few years has moved to Java and XML.
